SHURI CASTLE

Today, I'm going to post about " SHURI CASTLE". This is the most popular castle and really popular place in Okinawa. Shuri castle is in Shuri, Naha city. I've visited to Shuri castle many times in my life.
Scientists says Shuri castle was probabry built in 13 to 14 century. But it was completely destroyed by World War Ⅱand construction of Ryukyu Univ. in 1945. Finally it was restored in 1992, so this is same age of mine lol. Shuri castle is located on the hill so we can see the whole Naha city. It's beautiful view. When you visit there, you should view it. Especially night view from the castle is very beautiful.

    Wow! That's quite a view from the castle.
    The design and colors look quite different from most Japanese castles. Maybe you can tell us a little more about the background of this place?
